Virimbo describes safety plainly: what the platform does today, and where it stops. Phone verification: a verified badge means a working phone number was confirmed. It is not an identity check — Virimbo does not collect identity documents, selfies or video. Human review: every event listing is read by a person before it is published. Reporting: any member can report a listing, a profile or a message, and reports reach a person. Virimbo does not run automated scam scoring on private messages. Minimum age: Virimbo is for adults aged 18 and over; this is enforced by report and review, not by an automated check at signup, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is removed. Images: uploaded photos can be reported and are reviewed by a person; automated image checks are not running today. Payments: handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS), so Virimbo never holds card data. Sign-in: handled by Clerk (SOC 2). Connections are encrypted in transit. Compliance: the platform is subject to the GDPR and the Digital Services Act, and members can access, correct, export and delete their personal data. Questions or reports: info@virimbo.com.
